We haven't gotten much more done on the house since my last entry. Johnnie and a couple of his friends did get half of the basement poured today. We are all so excited to get into our home and start living normal again. Johnnie is still extremely busy with work. Cameron is really getting anxious for school to end. He is calling and texting me everyday hoping I will pick him up early and check him out. Honestly, he is driving me nuts, it is like babysitting a two year old. Brittney has mixed feelings, she is excited but likes to see her friends everyday. Payton and Cutter just finished with soccer. I am thankful it is over because the weather has been awful for most of the games. It was so fun watching them play though. Cutter is already a star player, he has made goals every game. His last game he only played half of the time and made 5 goals. Johnnie and I each pay him a dollar for every goal so he broke us last game.
Mother's Day was really nice! We went to church during the morning, the kids sang in sacrament. It was really cute. After church I was able to spend some time with my mom and sisters. Later that afternoon we had dinner at Marj's and visited for quite awhile. It was a really nice day.
As for me and my bum arm, we are still working on getting it working normally. I go to therapy 3 days a week. I really hate going, it does not always feel good I usually leave bawling. I had to have a nerve test done, which was not very comfortable. It is a two hour test.My doctor had me do it so that we could find the reason for my wrist not working. I was told that my radial nerve had no activity and must have died. I was then told that it would probably take up to a year to grow back. I once again went home bawling. (I'm a baby) I did see my doctor again the other day and in June he would like me to have another nerve test done. If they still find no activity I will go to a nero-surgeon and they will have to graph my nerve back together. I am praying they find some activity in my nerve. It would be nice to have some good news. I do feel like my elbow is finally making some progress so that is good. It is just slow!

A lot has been going on in our world. We finally got our house laid out and everything ready, but it just keeps snowing. We are really hoping it will stop soon so that we can get started on it. Johnnie's business has slowed down a little, but he still is really blessed with all of the work he has. Cameron is still living with his friend and doing really good, I am so proud of him.
In January, Johnnie bought me my own horse. I have been terrified to ride after being around his race horses. The horse he bought me I have really gotten attached to. After a couple of weeks I got to where I would saddle him myself while Johnnie was at work and ride him everyday. On March 15th Johnnie and I went on our second ride together up Honeyville mountain. We had only gone a little over a mile when Johnnie got ahead of me, but not to far. I remember my horse starting to trot and I remember thinking, "this is kind of fun." I looked down for one second to gather my reins and my horse just took off. The next thing I knew, he stopped so sudden, put his head down, and I flew right over the top of him face first. At that time that is all I thought I had hit. I could feel and see the blood coming down my face, then I stood up and have never felt anything like it before. My arm felt like it was only hanging there by skin, everytime I moved it felt like little electrical lines shooting in my arm. Johnnie felt so bad and just kept yelling at my horse. He tried to get me up on his horse but I knew I couldn't. I was so sick to my stomach. I made him take the horses down to the trailer while I walked down. I wasn't to far behind him when he got to the trailer, and came running back for me. I made him take the horses home and then off to the ER.
Mom and dad came and gave me a blessing. They had to cut my brand new shirt off, which I wasn't very happy about. After the x-rays we were told I broke my humorous bone, which is one of the worst to break. It was broke in 4 places and had a bone floating. They scheduled me for surgery the next morning. Johnnie took me to the hospital that morning. They put 2 metal plates in my arm to hold my bone together and a bunch of screws. I was in a sling for the first week, ended up being allergic to my pain medicine. I broke out about the 4th day with blisters all over my body and my throat was starting to swell shut. 2nd week I was able to take the sling off and work my arm. Second doctor visit he removed my 29 staples (I was so scared, but didn't feel a thing.) put me in a brace and I have to work it a lot more during the day. My radial nerve was stretched so my fingers and wrist don't want to work. The doctor says it should come back because I do have feeling, but it is painful feeling. About a week and a half after my accident Johnnie came home with the shirt they cut off of me. He had it shipped from Idaho, because they didn't have my size here. He has been so good to me and taken such good care of me. I have found what good friends I have. This really is just a small thing but has affected me greatly. I get so depressed because there is so much I do in a day and now it takes me so much longer. I am a big baby I've learned.
I am also reminded of something I have always known, I have the world's greatest mother-in-law. She is so good to me and takes care of me like she would her own. I am so lucky to have the family and friends that I have.

As you all know we have been living in our trailer for almost five months. We are finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel, and are planning on moving into our shed until the house is finished. I know it sounds funny, but it really is a nice shed with a full bath. That I am so excited for. The kids are getting really excited because then we can finally put our Christmas tree up. They were afraid Santa wouldn't know where we were.
As for the family, Johnnie is still extremely busy with work, and we still feel so blessed, and surprised that he has as much as he does. As for me, I feel like I am constantly running errands and making phone calls for his buisness because he doesn't have the time to do it all. (It has really been a busy year for all of us.) Cameron is still living with his friend, and is doing really good. I was so worried about him starting high school, but he has been behaving himself for the most part and makes me really proud. Brittney is doing really good in school and is a big help to me most of the time. She helps a lot with the little ones, while Johnnie and I spend our extra time working on the shed. Payton is also enjoying school, but is looking forward to Christmas vacation and getting in that shed. Cutter is in preschool and loves going with his cousin Kynlie. He has learned his colors and how to spell his name. I think some days he feels lost because there is no where to play. I think he will probably be the most thankful when we move.
We just had our family Christmas party this last weekend and it was so nice to see everyone, and spend time together. Well I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and Happy Holidays!!!!

We've Moved
The end of July was a busy month for us. We came home from camping on a Sunday, had some people come to our house that were interested in buying it. They made us a cash offer and wanted us out as soon as we could. We were able to get everything out in a week, and have been living in our camp trailer since. It has definitely been a big change for all of us. The kids are all adjusting pretty good for the most part. Cameron has been living with his best friend and our neighbors since the move. He seems to be doing really good and comes to visit a lot. I think in the long run this is really good for our family. We are all getting really excited for our new and final home. The kids are all excited to design their own rooms, and they love being closer to Grandma Marj, who has been a big blessing and a life saver to all of us. We are in her house for the most part, but it is nice to send the kids out to get on the bus and every morning she is there to hug them and tell them good-bye. I know that is going to be a memory that they will treasure forever.
Johnnie left for Alaska on the 28th of August and returned a week earlier than he was supposed to. He was able to get a grizzly bear the second day he was there, and it is a nice one. He was told that it is one of the nicest and biggest they have seen come out of there. He was able to get a dall sheep a few days after the bear and it is also really pretty. He had a lot of fun and was glad to come home, his feet were killing him. This month has been really busy and hopefully we can slow things down a little bit now. I will post pictures of his hunt as soon as I can. He got some really good ones.

June 2008
Our family has been really busy this month. Johnnie is extremely busy with his business and has so many jobs that he needs to quit taking on new ones. We have really been blessed because most people in his line of work really don't have anything to do. I am busy helping Johnnie with odds and ends and trying to make sure I spend as much time with the kids this summer as I can. Real Estate has been really slow so I'm not in the office much.
We are planning on a few camping trips this summer, and attempted our first this last weekend, but halfway there Johnnie's truck lost power and we had to come home. Maybe, this weekend.

Cutter is really enjoying the summer, because he can be outside constantly. He will be in preschool this fall and is really excited. He is definitely the athlete in our family. He loves soccer, basketball, baseball, and already hunting. He went turkey hunting with us this season and hiked pretty much the whole way. He takes after his dad!

Payton was just baptized in May and that was a big thing for her, she was so excited. She celebrated her birthday that day also so that her family could be her. She had a really good day and wishes she could do it all over again. She is a big help around the house and loves playing with Cutter. She will be in the 3rd grade and is really excited for school.
